A team from RACPD are walking 100km in 24 hours starting today at 1100 hrs! The walk will take the route of the north of Salisbury Plain culminating in Tidworth. The team are raising funds for the military charity SSAFA, which looks after forces personnel and their families.

What an evening it was! So proud to be part of this amazing evening witnessing our winners collect their prizes in front of an audience of 70 individuals. Major General Neil Marshall OBE presented the awards and was so proud of just how far the Gunners have come in making personal development a priority in their already busy schedules.

Would you like to become a teacher?
Have you completed the Level 3 Education and Training qualification (formerly PTLLS) and would like to complete either the Level 4 or 5 to enable you to gain the full teaching qualification? Then RACPD has spaces remaining on its next course which starts on the 23 May in Larkhill, open to serving personnel, veterans and dependants.
The Level 5 is mostly online, and you can study in your own time. You will be required to attend a tutorial approximately once per month and you must have access to a number of teaching hours. The start date is 23 May and end date (i.e. last tutorial) will be in Feb 2018. The Level 4 is slightly shorter and you would be looking at 6 - 9 months for completion.
RACPD is thrilled to have a stand at the Tidworth Life Skills Fair on 24 May, this fair is aimed at the whole military community including dependants and veterans and will house exhibitors covering training, education, welfare and health. We hope to see you there!

RACPD is seeking an experienced Self Employed Art Teacher to deliver entry level art to Key Stage 5 pupils with SEN.
This contract is to start in April; delivery will be 2 mornings a week (Mondays & Tuesday preferred) for 10 weeks, approximately 60 hours delivery.
